Wafer processing, inspection and identification
Wafers are also called slices or substrates, which are thin slices of semiconductor material used to make solar photovoltaic panels that convert light energy into electrical energy. Machine vision can perform wafer processing on its own; achieve accurate calibration; and inspect the bus AR coating to create thin, high-quality wafers with small spacing. Quality inspection can help manufacturers avoid wafer deformation, flipping, chipping, including tooth marks or showing contour defects.
